Rush

Glaring onward with the fear I stare
A view of life smoked deep through a glass
Wipe the memories from the past I had
My sense, my warmth, my star, my soul
Throw it away

I can feel the rush, I can fight you now (2x)

It's controlled my life but now I'm through
I must make this right all alone
I've been somewhat weak for way too long
Tonight it ends, step up and dare
Step up and dare

I can feel the rush, I can fight you now (2x)

Oh thrill me now
Oh take me high
But pull me out
And lead my soul to innocence
I love the rush I get when I walk away
When I walk away

I can feel the rush, I can fight you now (2x)

Sticking to the things I know
Seeking to the place I live

Change Fever

In the summer I will fly
In the winter I feel shy
In our romance I may cry
Tilt the meaning and I'll change the rhyme

Change the outcome and I'll change the plan
Lift your spirit I'm sure you can
Seek your limits I've got a hill to climb
For your future change your time

Change fever

Illuminate your life with a change you've made
Is it eternal or will it fade
Change is good, are you onboard my chief
Swap your thoughts, it will change your beliefs

Change fever

Drive
Drive (Intro)

Can you feel the fire and drive?
And our shadows tracing behind

The time has healed our sound
The time has strengthened our ground

I gotta say were feeling alright, alright
Things are moving our way, our way

The time has healed our sound
The time has strengthened our ground

For the Shackled Mind

How much do you think you, the world is changing and were moving backwards
Everybody's got a mission in time, It's bling in their mind, and it's all that they carry.

Do you know how much lies behind walls
Do you know how much ties within time

Open your minds, Open your eyes (2x)

All around you, think they got it all, I would rather laugh and create this notion
It's all shooting and stabbing for all, Come up, join me, watch from a birds view

Open your minds, Open your eyes (2x)

Every time I slip and fall I always go round and round again
Breaking free of the shackled mind, open new doors for all mankind

The Great Magician

The strongest ground can shift and tremble, and make us fall.
I thought I was safe, by hiding alone.
The truth becomes as I see, my deepest fears
Wanting to break away, no longer want to chase your footsteps
Looking for peace, among your destruction

I was a silent sound
Crying out to you, you heard nothing
You took advantage of my open heart and hand
Stop leading me on with your words
Your soul no longer invites me
My candle of hope has blown out

Don't count on me for an applause
I don't deserve this pain
I now know, survive this alone
Uncrushable…
You own no piece of me, cant push me over the edge
Don't hold your hand out and try, and save me
Allow this curtain to fall, on this show, I said on this show.

My feet are cemented and my wrists are bruised
You broke me and all you can do is stand, and watch me shatter
Bring in the crowd to enjoy your act
Your a true magician, your embracing eyes
But tricks are for kids and I know your acts
I see who you are underneath your skin.

Come Inside

I feel her coming around
The energy is high
She came across my mind
Oh, never out of site

Nothing really matters, it's all my head
Come into my life, I'll show you around
I'll feel you tonight, your body is so close

Her lips across my neck
The heat is raising high
Her body once told
Good things come from mine

Nothing really matters, it's all my head
Come into my life, I'll show you around
I'll feel you tonight, your body is so close

Come inside (4x)

Faithful Days

Sparkling night looks so right, I close my eyes no more lies
Everything feels well kept bright, the days go by, sights so joyful
Oblivious souls, high innocence
The past was real, the true deal
Chapter 1 comes to an end, feel my vibe and lay low

I'm laying my thoughts down, while I'm high above my ground
I'm laying my thoughts down, while I'm high above my…

Brilliance in life, everything has come to an end
Brilliance of life, everything has gone once again

Faithful days have blinded sea's
Destructive minds have spooled combined

Left behind unguarded towers, starring down an open silo
Prevented race lost it's faith in, peace and restoration
Knock us down but its not over, the spooled combined should bend over
Chapter 2 comes to an end, collect your thoughts and lay low

I'm laying my thoughts down, while I'm high above my ground
I'm laying my thoughts down, while I'm high above my…

Brilliance in life, everything has come to an end
Brilliance of life, everything has gone once again

Faithful days have blinded sea's
Destructive minds have spooled combined

See the Sun

I wanna see the sun, I wanna go again.
You dont know how it goes, you had to be there.
Just come with me, to my homeland, oh oh to my homeland.

See the sun, with me (4x)

Do you wanna see the sun, do you wanna go again?
You don't know how it goes, you had to be there.
Just come with me, to my homeland, oh oh to my homeland.

See the sun (see the sun), with me (4x)

Do you wanna see the sun? (4x)

Empty Words

Every time I close your eyes you never seem to recognize
Everyday I take you out you never really meant it all.
She said
I knew… You knew… No word

And I stare right through my window…
And I stare right through my door…

I take a stroll down to the park
Tears like rain drops in the soil
I'm scanning memories of my time
I gotta jump this line of mine
I said I knew and you knew no words

And I stare right through my window…
And I stare right through my door…

Light my Torch

One step at a time, leading me through the night.
The stars above so bright, oh yeah their leading me through the night.
Beneath the blackened sky, lit by the moonlight, I'm searching for my own kind.
I'm grasping this wheel so fine, I'm feeling my road again.
Baby were alone, finally feeling warm.
Beneath the blackened sky, lit by the moon light, I'm searching for my own kind.

I'm moving right along, I'm roaming on my own.
Collecting thoughts deserved, come on light my torch.

In your mind can you fly so high.
Take a moment and vent your affairs.

I'm moving right along, I'm roaming on my own.
Collecting thoughts deserved, come on light my torch.

Light my Torch (3x)

Water Remains

Let your feet explore the floor, I know, there's a lot
Step back to see whats right in front of you, oh my love
Believe, before you look
Dust, is all around
A leaf falls past you someone thought of you, oh my love
Problems arise and hope just fades, just get on your feet
Believe, before you look
Dust, is all around

Curiousity is pondering across my thoughts
Endless visions accumulating, overwhelming days
Everything with time
Carry on my flow

Everything's in sight and I know how far, it all seems now
My father once told, let go and reach out, strike all the gold out there
A breather on the lake and the water remains so calm, is reflecting on my life

Sailed onto the Moon

Sailing across the universe shooting stars beyond my reach
Come on board this venture of mine
Darling it's once in a lifetime
Don't hesitate and grasp my hand
A beautiful long road awaits our aura

I gazed at her straight into the eyes
Held my hand sailed onto the moon
A starry night from a charming height
Held me tight sailed onto the moon

Sailing across the universe, the two of us are swapping thoughts
Wonderful sights oh to be seen
She told me please don't go back home
Lets stay here forever just you and me
Terribly forced to head back home

And our lives have been taken over
And our wonderful days are over
And our lives have been taken over

Wings on my Back

The homeless are hungry in a world of plenty, can I raise a point?
Lack of communication, only one to blame
The media has got the strength, the voice, to spread the sea's
Political news and amusement over poverty

Got Wings on my back, let myself free
Rolling like a hurricane, away from all the pain
Away from all the pain

The media is the key as Jefferson as preferred us as a sharing press
The poor are given no choice for words, is that democracy?
The clock is ticking and they failed to reduce this predicament
Shameless to say it's miles away for this world to change

Got Wings on my back, let myself free
Rolling like a hurricane, away from all the pain
Away from all the pain

Profile
A Little About Us

A group of childhood friends whose favourite activity as young teens in Junior High was rehearsing self-composed music and collaborating their musical instruments to create melodies and tunes reminiscent of their individual lives as part of an expatriate community in the mid-east; there is no doubt they had something to say. Collectively, the young group complete with Michael on vocals, Nomi on guitar, and Basam on drums decided to form a band called Temple of life in the summer of '98. The young band managed to achieve many performances for crowds. It was all fun for the boys and the experiences opened new doors for them.

As college students each member went their separate ways spreading out over different parts of the world, the young band was disappearing. After some time, the guys having stuck with their instruments and with the drive from the memories of where they're from and what they need started materialzing which inevitably lead them to reassemble once again in Toronto in early '07. While in Toronto they continued their struggles with school and finances and somehow managed to stumble upon their last piece of the ensemble, Leo on the Bass Guitar. Now, in 2009, working hard each member brought to the table their experiences from when they were apart and carefully and patiently structured a more determined and innovative agenda for the band. With the sustained benefit of collaborative talent from a young age and harmonious theory gathered over the years, Temple of Life is making a new mark carrying a new message for the changing society.
